Elaine Heal is an attorney at NORTH WEBER & BAUGH LLP, an intellectual property law firm located in Silicon Valley.
Ms. Heal’s practice covers all aspects of intellectual property procurement and enforcement. She is experienced in patent litigation, patent prosecution, licensing, and client counseling in a variety of technology areas, including telecommunications, networking, satellites, printing technologies, computer displays, storage, mechanical devices, signal processing, software, and semiconductor technologies. Ms. Heal has also assisted clients in developing global patent strategies and has provided patent infringement and invalidity analyses.

Ms. Heal received her undergraduate education from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, graduating with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Heal worked as a Satellite Systems Engineer at Lockheed Martin Corp. in Sunnyvale, California.
Ms. Heal attended law school at Franklin Pierce Law Center, where her studies focused on intellectual property law. While in law school Ms. Heal participated in an externship for Honorable James Ware in the Northern District of California.
Prior to joining NORTH WEBER & BAUGH LLP, Ms. Heal worked at Blakely Sokoloff Taylor & Zafman; Fenwick & West LLP; McDermott Will & Emery LLP; and Marvell Semiconductor, Inc.
Ms. Heal is a member of the California Bar and is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Ms. Heal is also a member of the Silicon Valley Intellectual Property Association and the IEEE.
