Diane Johnsson |

|
Diane Johnsson is an attorney at NORTH WEBER & BAUGH LLP, an
intellectual property law firm located in Silicon Valley.
Ms. Johnsson specializes in intellectual property law, with an
emphasis on the acquisition and enforcement of trademark
rights. She has represented a wide range of companies, from
privately held start-ups to publicly traded and multinational
corporations. She has counseled these companies regarding the
adoption, use and protection of trademarks, both in the United
States and abroad. Ms. Johnsson has experience prosecuting
trademark applications before the U.S. Patent and Trademark
Office, and in resolving disputes over contested marks.
Ms. Johnsson received her undergraduate education from Goucher
College in Baltimore, graduating with a B.A. in Economics and
English. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Johnsson worked in
the field of management consulting for several years before
completing her Masters degree in Composition and Rhetoric from
the University of Hawaii.

Ms. Johnsson attended law school at Franklin Pierce Law
Center, where she earned a Master of Intellectual Property
(M.I.P.) degree in addition to her J.D. While in law
school Ms. Johnsson was selected for externships at both
Warner Bros. and Fox where she worked on a variety of
trademark and copyright matters.
Prior to joining NORTH WEBER & BAUGH LLP, Ms. Johnsson
worked for Fenwick & West LLP in the trademark group. She
later worked for several years in the non-profit sector
doing public health policy legal research for the Pacific
Institute for Research and Evaluation (PIRE). In her spare
time, she offers pro bono trademark counseling to Great
Kids, Inc., an international non-profit child abuse
prevention organization.
Ms. Johnsson is a member of the California Bar. She is
also a member of the International Trademark Association (INTA).
